THE EARLY CHILDHOOD SCHOOL DAY
For health and safety reasons children in Early Childhood classes should not arrive at school before 07.45.
Please note that children in Early Childhood and Junior sections must be collected promptly at the end of the day. Parents will be telephoned at 14.45 if their child is still on site. The school reserves the right to transport the child to the parent's location by taxi at the expense of the parent. These measures are in the interest of the health and safety of the children.
Please also take a look at the notes regarding access to the site when dropping off and picking up your child.

A TYPICAL EARLY CHILDHOOD DAY
A
typical day in the early years section begins at 8am with registration
and a carpet session to explain the day’s programmes or to tell the
children about the literacy or numeracy activities for the morning.
Break includes a run around our playground and maybe a visit to the tuck
shop which is located adjacent to our section.
Morning lessons finish at 11.30am for Years 1 and 2 and lunch time for them and for the 5-7 year olds is followed by a ‘Together Time’ in the hall. During this session the children can cool down with songs and stories in our air-conditioned hall. Our afternoon finishes at 1.45 when most children go home while children with older siblings can take advantage of our after hours supervision until 2.30pm when the secondary children finish classes.
