EARLY CHILDHOOD SECTION

The Early Childhood section of the ISS caters for children aged between 3 and 7 years.

WELCOME!

Welcome to the Early Childhood section. We have 123 children in the section at the moment in Classes Reception 1 through to Year 2.

Reception 1, Reception 2, Year 1 and Year 2 are situated in the new school building. The two extension classes contain children aged 3-5 years and 5-7 years and these are smaller classes with 12 children in each classroom. Reception 1/2 extension class is situated in an small classroom near the main gates. Miss Janice is the class teacher. The Year 1/2 extension class is taught in a converted Tata bus and Miss Charline is class teacher here. Her children love being taught on a bus!

Class 2 has Ms Ansell as their teacher and Class 1 has Mrs Verma. Reception 2 class has Miss Law and Reception 1 Miss Vivienne. We are lucky enough to have 4 excellent teaching assistants, Miss Hazel, Miss Gina, Miss Helena and Miss Sheryl. We also have a support teacher Miss Louise who works with different classes throughout our section.
