Ambika Ghuge (1999-2001)

Dear school,

Hi, I am Ambika Ghuge, an ex-student who was there in this school from 1999-2001. It was the best experience of my life, and shall remain embedded in my heart all my life. I believe that if any school has actually contributed to the development of my personality, it is this school. I made some really great friends here, like Chloe, Abner and Blessy, among others. My heartfelt thanks to teachers like Mr. Kennedy, Ms. Donlon, and Ms. Jonhson (my favorite), for putting up with all the mad things that I did (which were quite a few).

I have promised myself that I will come back some day. I would really love to hear from some of my friends (I hope they have not forgotten me), and my e-mail addresses are-- www.ambika_ghuge@hotmail.com, www.ambika_bageera@yahoo.co.in.

Yours faithfully,

Ambika Ghuge

Kamal Ali & Michel Savy (2004)

What's crackin' G... It's michel and kamal here...

We're down in australia - we actually in uni now. We are survivors of Operation A levels, campaign International School, Seychelles. AND WE PASSED!!!

Cheers big ears to all the old mates. Tell the girls we miss them!!!

To the teachers...Mr. Eyre (Mr. Irie), Mr. Lespoir (you taught us to blow stuff up), Mr. Richards (lots of respect for the ability in maths...we get sinh (x) and cosh (x) and all sorts of funny nonsense now), Mrs Tirant (bonjour, madame! Kamal still can't speak french! Michel is barely managing but the girls love french here, so cheers for that, miss), Mr. Copley (we seee that the site is finally all fixed up and looking sharp, thanks for the programming nonsense - tryin to learn java here), Ms. Georgiana (I'm still late for class days and michel is still hung over in the morns), Ms. Johnstone (where ever you are now, hope the blood pressure's finally lowered a bit), Mrs Kennedy (thanks for the help with the unis, they actually accepted us and of course thanks for the lecture sessions, they helped discipline us, somewhat anyway), last but not least Mr Kennedy (Thanks for all and easy on the weird art!!).

To all those of you still there and who had utter hate and annoyance for us...we're gone, but we're still here and we will be back! And you'll probably still be there! Remember the titans, Remember Mervyn, Kamal, Jean jacques and Michel! (the soldier that sort of survived (somewhat).

All is good here in the land of Oz. We now know why they call it down under...we actually have to study to pass now. And to all of you who are saying "OH, my IGCSE is so hard!!" and "Oh! I can't take the A levels they're so hard!!!" STOP COMPLAINING!! Uni is harder but it's a hell of a lot more fun! So, do what we did, make the most of school. Go out, organise parties amongst yourselves, trash the island (but don't pollute, now)!! Live like there's no tomorrow, but study a while, because there actually is a tomorrow.

To the office staff, much love for the late photocopies.

Take care. Michel and Kamal

PS please don't censor this
(I didn't - all the spelling and grammar errors are yours alone! ISS)

Sheena Gill (2000-01)

Hello International School!!!

My name is Sheena Gill and I was a student at the school from April 2000 to late November 2001. I'm currently in the USA, busy preparing for a future career in law. From the moment I walked into the school I realised how lucky I was to be able to have such a conclusive environment for studying and such dedicated teachers by my side.

I would like to thank all my teachers for making the learning process such a wholesome and memorable experience. Mrs Payet, thank you for making Geography an exciting and challenging subject to study. Miss Barnes, thanks for allowing me to express my thoughts in English and History. Mrs Dolely, thank you for your useful advice on examination techniques. Mrs Malbrook, you made Economics not only facinating but fun to study-something that I will never forget. A special thanks also goes to Mr and Mrs Kennedy for your strong words of support, guidance and for having faith in me. Thank you Mrs Kennedy for your continous dedication in Biology.

Sheyanka, Cynthia, Aimee, Christophe, Anne, Hayley and Johnathan thanks for being really cool friends. Best of luck in all your future endevours-especially exams!

Yours sincerely,

Sheena Gill.
