Red House Book Club
The Red House books have arrived!

Many thanks to all parents and families that bought books from the Red House book club last term. The order was the biggest ever and as a result the school received many free books which will be distributed between the Library, Junior and Early Childhood Sections.

Welcome Back - Happy New Year!
2006 is upon us and the second term of the academic year has begun.

Below are a few news stories from the end of last term that didn't make it onto the December 2005 page (my fault - sorry!)

Early Childhood Parties
On Monday December 12th the whole section had their Christmas parties. The children shared a party picnic and enjoyed games in the classroom. Musical chairs and musical bumps were popular with all ages.

Father Christmas came to visit and brought gifts for all the classes.

A wonderful time was had by all!

Early Childhood PTA Disco
On Friday 9th December the PTA disco was held in the school hall. Early Childhood disco dancers displayed a wide range of dance technique and enthusiasm. The event was very popular and everyone enjoyed a snack and a drink as well as an energetic hour of dancing.

End of Term Nativity Assembly
Class 2 performed an end of term assembly for the Early Childhood Section. The Little Angel included singing and dancing by angels and stars as well as acting from various toys. The little angel ends up in the stable with the shepherds and children singing to Mary and Joseph.
