OUR SCHOOL

Whether living and working at home or abroad, the selection of a school for their children is one of the most important responsibilities that parents and guardians undertake. This prospectus is designed to provide information for parents considering placing their children at the International School Seychelles.

The school aims to deliver, through the formal and informal curricula, educational programmes of the highest quality, programmes that are academically robust, yet at the same time recognise and value the individual qualities of each child. The school aims to educate the whole person within a friendly, caring and supportive environment. Students are encouraged to develop their creative thinking powers, to solve problems with flexibility and verve, to be confident and responsible as well as happy and stimulated. The school provides challenge and security.

The school community is a thriving one, with an extremely active Parent Teacher Association, and in terms of student age and background it is also an extremely varied one. The focus is upon learning with a sense of enjoyment and adventure, and the school's good examination record in the senior school is but one important outcome from what is the foundation of all that we do at the International School. This website provides information concerning the basic framework and fabric of school life, however it cannot truly represent the atmosphere and character of the school.
